This is a simple Filipino Chicken adobo recipe that is quick and easy to make. With the perfect balance of sweet, salty and spicy flavors. Perfect for hectic days when you don't have much time for cooking.
Ingredients
500g of chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1.5 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1.5 tablespoons of vinegar
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 bay leaves
1 medium sized onion, sliced
1 cup water
salt, pepper and chili powder to taste
Steps
Saute garlic and onion in a pan with oil
Add chicken to pan
Season with salt, pepper and chili powder
Add soy sauce and oyster sauce to pan. Stir and cook until sauce is reduced
